A state museum in Madrid whose collections provide the setting for a museum route on the history of conservation and restoration. Founded in 1867, the museum worked with the Higher School for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage to create a route through twenty objects, connecting the exhibits with their repairs, restorations and conservation contexts, from prehistory to the 21st century.
