Analytics with advanced consent
RetroPause uses strictly necessary storage and Google Analytics with advanced consent. The script downloads on every visit, while analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. Before acceptance Google may receive cookieless measurement signals; accepting allows analytics cookies and rejecting keeps storage denied without removing any public feature.
Necessary storage
retropause-session: maintains the session and form messages; usual duration of 120 minutes.XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms and requests against forgery; duration linked to the session.retro-theme: keeps the selected visual theme in local storage until you delete it.retropause-analytics-consent: keeps the analytics choice in local storage until you change or remove it.
These items are not used for advertising.
Optional analytics
After acceptance, Google Analytics may create _ga and _ga_<identifier> to distinguish users and sessions pseudonymously. RetroPause limits them to a maximum of 13 months, disables Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals, and does not send names, email addresses or contact-form messages. Google may process approximate location, browser, device and visited-page information.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. If you reject after accepting, RetroPause blocks future measurements, removes analytics cookies accessible to the site and reloads the page. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
