The controller is Ieris OÜ, which operates RetroPause under the Linkses brand. Registration number 14547280, EUID EEARIREG.14547280, registered at Pärnu mnt 105, 11312 Tallinn, Estonia. To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, use the public contact form and include “Privacy” in the subject.
Data we process
When you browse, the IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent, session identifiers and technical logs required to deliver and protect the service may be processed. When you use the contact form, we process your name, email, subject, message, language, consent and the technical ALTCHA proof needed to prevent abuse. RetroPause does not store the form message in its database: it is sent to the configured editorial mailbox.
Purposes and legal bases
Technical data is used to deliver and secure the service, prevent fraud and diagnose incidents, based on technical necessity and our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure platform. Form data is used to answer your request on the basis of consent and, where appropriate, to take requested steps before entering a relationship. Legal obligations and the establishment, exercise or defence of claims may justify limited additional retention.
Google Analytics loads on every visit using advanced consent mode. Analytics and advertising storage remain denied until explicit acceptance; before acceptance Google may receive cookieless signals such as technical browser information, the visited page and consent state. Rejecting keeps storage denied and does not restrict access to RetroPause.
Providers and transfers
Essential hosting, security and email providers may process the minimum data required under applicable safeguards. When analytics is accepted, Google processes measurement data and may make international transfers under its contractual and data-protection mechanisms.
OpenAI, Brave Search and Linkses editorial services are used for content research, generation and verification. RetroPause does not intentionally send contact-form messages or visitor personal data to those services. We do not sell personal data or use it for personalised advertising.
Retention
Sessions expire according to the service configuration. Technical logs are rotated for the period needed for security and diagnosis. Received messages are deleted from the editorial mailbox no later than 12 months after the request is closed, unless longer retention is required by law or to establish, exercise or defend claims. The analytics preference remains in the browser until you change it or clear local storage.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability and withdraw consent without retroactive effect. We may ask for information previously provided to verify identity before responding. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or, where applicable, to the authority in your place of residence.
Automated decisions and children
We do not use visitor or form data for automated decisions with legal effects or commercial profiling. RetroPause is not specifically directed at children, and the form should not be used to send unnecessary sensitive information.
